Meet

Karen has been involved with the Abbeyfield movement since 2016 as a Board Member of The Abbeyfield Belfast Society, taking the Treasurer role in 2019.

After completing a nine year term with Abbeyfield Belfast, she took on the role of Chair of the Abbeyfield Northern Ireland region in 2025 and represents the region on the World Council.

Karen is a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Director.

She has wide experience in financial direction and business leadership, and since retirement from a full-time career, has sought to use her experience in a number of trustee and non-executive roles.
