Garden Transformation

The new garden at Bell Rotary House in Belfast, Northern Ireland

The large, formal garden at Bell Rotary House, supported sheltered accommodation on the Kings Road in Belfast, Northern Ireland has been transformed. What was one simply an area of law in now a lively, colourful haven filled with fragrance and activity. Residents and visitors stroll along the paths, picking fresh flowers for their rooms and savouring strawberries and tomatoes straight from the vine. Cosy benches in shaded corners provide peaceful spots for reflection, inviting all to pause and enjoy the vibrant surroundings. Children can play, water plants and enjoy reading and drawing the garden room which staff harvest salad, herbs and vegetables for the dinner table.

All this was made possible through a generous donation from a previous resident and a grant from The Wolfson Foundation.
